Fatima Academy
The Fatima Academy Accordion Group, under the direction of music teacher, Robert Colbourne, was formed in 2007 to foster traditional music within the young people of the Cape Shore. Open to Grade 7 to12 students, The Fatima Academy Accordion Group reÂarranged traditional pieces to give them a more modern feel while keeping the integrity of the tunes. Students in the group had an eclectic musical taste that ranges from traditional Irish/Newfoundland folk music to hard core rock, and are driven by a pure love of music.
